Other Activities:
1. Compare and find the differences in Luke's "Sermon on the Plain" (6:20-49) and Matthew's "Sermon on the Mount" (5:1-12). Write on the board two columns one with Luke and the other with Matthew and find out how they are a like and different.
2. What is Jesus saying in the “Sermon on the Plain”? Work with the students in helping them understand what Jesus is saying in these verses. Do this on the board or have a discussion with the class. Or break the students into groups and assign them one of the verses and to briefly define what Jesus is saying. Discuss.
