Glue the felt on one end of a large piece of felt and then glue your footprints so that it looks like you are walking toward the cross. Write in fabric paint across the top of your banner, "I'm following Jesus."

"Follow Jesus Every Day" Calendar- You will need a sheet of card for each child, glue, a small calendar, available from stationery shops for each one, some photos cut out of old magazines and/or colored pens, stickers, glitter glue etc. Either photocopy the words "Follow Jesus every day." on to the cards, or on to paper to be cut out and glue it on to the cards, or let the children write it. Stick the calendars at the bottom, make a hole at the top to hang it up. Illustrate with pictures and/or decorative borders, glitter etc. according to age and/or time available. These calendars can be used to remind people to follow Jesus every day - and to pray for people who face problems every day because they are following Jesus.

I’m Following Jesus T-shirt craft- Have students bring in a t-shirt (or this can be made on a piece of poster board). Place a piece of cardboard inside the t-shirt to keep the paint from spreading. After all the feet have been put down, children can try to FOLLOW THE FEET and will enjoy the weaving back and forth to find another foot to follow. Have children sit down at the end of the feet, and tell the story today about following JESUS.

Follow Me- The leader does one move (example: claps their hand, snaps their fingers, etc.) and the group then does it. Then the leader does the first move and then a new one. The group then repeats what the leader did in the proper order. Each time the leader adds a new move to the sequence and the group must repeat what the leader did in the correct order.

Following Jesus (Disciples Follow Jesus- )This game will help children understand that their actions can let others know they are followers of Jesus. (The Encyclopedia of Bible Games for Children’s Ministry, page 75).

Introduce game: If you follow Jesus, you must believe in Him and do what He asks.

Jesus wants us to do the right thing. Making the right decisions in life is hard to do, but if you let Jesus be your guide and think, “What Would Jesus Do?” it will make it a lot easier.
