Holy Trinity Ring Toss- a fun game for little ones

The Holy Trinity File Folder Games (2 Game Boards to choose from)

Directions: The objective of the game is to collect the most tokens by answering questions correctly about the Holy Trinity. Place 2 small baskets or boxes on the table to put question cards in. Put the question cards in one basket (the other basket will be for discards). Set an egg timer for a specified time. Place your marker anywhere on the board. Roll the die and move that many spaces clockwise. If a player lands on a space that says “?”, the player to their right draws a card and reads the question out loud. (If they cannot read, the teacher or someone else can read it for them). On each card is a question about the Holy Trinity. If the player answers correctly, they receive a token (you can use shamrocks, poker chips, milk caps, etc.). If they are not correct, they do not receive a token. If the player lands on “Return 1 Token”, they must return one token. If a player lands on “Take 1 Token” they may take a token from any player they choose. Players must collect as many tokens as they can as they move around the board. Note that the board is set up so you can move around it many times. The game is over when the egg timer goes off. Whoever has the most tokens, wins. Players can also play in teams so they can help each other answer the questions.

Put the question cards in one basket (the other basket will be for discards). Set an egg timer for a specified time. Place your marker anywhere on the board. The player spins the spinner and follows the directions by moving their marker that many spaces clockwise. If a player lands on a space that says “?”, the player to their right draws a card and reads the question out loud. (If they cannot read, the teacher or someone else can read it for them). On each card is a question about the Holy Trinity. If the player answers correctly, they receive a token (you can use poker chips, milk caps, etc.) and move ahead 2. If they are not correct, they do not receive a token and stay where they are. If the player spins “Return 1 Token”, they must return one token. If a player spins “Take 1 Token” they may take a token from any player they choose. Players must collect as many tokens as they can as they move around the board. Note that the board is set up so you can move around it many times. The game is over when the egg timer goes off. Whoever has the most tokens, wins. delish.com- Italian Easter Bread
Italian Easter Bread is traditionally baked in the shape of a wreath to symbolise the crown of thorns worn by Jesus Christ at the crucifixion. The three pieces of dough braided together represent the three elements of the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The bread is either baked with coloured eggs directly in the dough or with white eggs that can be decorated after baking.

foodandwine.com- The Religious History of Pretzels
The pretzel's legendary origins date back over 1,400 years. While The New York Times reported in 1988 that a fifth-century illuminated manuscript in the Vatican featured what may be the first likeness of a pretzel, most sources date the snack's invention a century later. It was around 610 CE when legend has it that a monk with a twisted sense of humor lived in a secluded monastery in Northern Italy or Southern France. As a reward to his students for learning their prayers, this monk handed out baked pieces of leftover bread twisted together to resemble crossed arms, which was a traditional prayer pose. He called them pretiola, which is Latin for "little rewards." What's more, the three-holed "pretiola," claimed the monk, represented the religious trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
