Why can't we see God?

I’m waiting for this inevitable question to be asked by my students one day. This unavoidable inquiry cannot be prevented from happening at the most inopportune time and CCD teachers and parents must be ready to answer within a moment’s notice and be able to explain this fully so the child can understand. Here are a few sites that have some answers to this monumental question that might be of some help:

Why can’t we see God? The goal of is to answer the questions that kids ask in a way that kids can understand. Children answer this question in their own delightful way. Just because we can't see God doesn't mean he isn't real. Believing that God is there even though we can't see him is faith. Do You Believe? An activity to compare how easily children believe in things they cannot see to show how they can believe in an unseen God. Various scriptures from the Bible answers this question.
