Catechism of the Catholic Church (file folder game)







Here is a game to review the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It can be played individually or in teams.


This game is free, however it is only to be used for classroom and personal use. It may not be published on any websites or other electronic media, or distributed in newsletters, bulletins, or any other form or sold for profit. Reproduction or retransmission of any materials, in whole or in part, in any manner, is not permitted.


Catechism of the Catholic Church: Answer questions about the Catechism of the Catholic Church as you go around the board. Collect the most tokens before the timer goes off and win.

Rules- How to play the game

Game Board- Print out Game Board, trim, and glue on the inside of the file folder.

Title- Cut out CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH title and glue in the center of the game board (either straight or diagonally, which ever you choose). Laminate or cover file folder with clear contact paper to make it last.

Use these cards or make your own. Print out the following cards. Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last.

Print out The Creed cards on light blue card stock. (40 cards)

Print out Ten Commandments cards on light tan card stock. (40 cards)

Print out 7 Sacraments cards on white card stock. (40 cards)

My students loved this game. I found that 20 minutes was not quite enough time for a group of 5 kids to get around the board. This would be great for 3-4 kids per group.

Try playing the game in teams to allow more players to play at the same time. :)
