Had forgotten about this game.

I can't believe you only have one kid in your class (saw that on Elaine's blog). Actually, yes I can. We would have the same problem except we've only got 3 teachers...hence the groups get lumped differently. We've got PK-K, 1st-5th and 6th-8th. Works for us.

My ONE student did not come on Sunday. I might be moved to 4th grade if he doesn't come back. Hubby only had 1 student on Sunday (he started with 2).

I hate to say this (don't want to make you feel bad), but we have 5 new kids this year. A blessing for us. I know at least 3 of them will be regular (mother is very committed). Nobody wants to go to church anymore. Seems they would rather be "doers" instead of "hearers", which isn't a bad thing. But they forget they need the education of hearing too. And so do their children.

4th grade, huh? That means you'll have all your old students. But a whole different teaching level. Pray! :) Next year you'll probably have 20.

Congregation numbers are going down in every church. When I first started teaching 1st grade I had 18 - 22, hubby had 25 in his 6th grade class. So sad.

The 4th grade teacher used to be my 1st grade co-teacher so I think we will do great. :)
