The Catholic Toolbox- The Golden Rule (file folder game)
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What does this mean? It means we should treat others the same way you want them to treat you. This game helps promote why someone would use proper manners and etiquette in our daily lives.

The Catholic Toolbox- How RUDE!
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What does this mean? It means we should treat others the same way you want them to treat you. That is easier said than done. Do you respect everyone and treat them kindly at all times? During our daily contact with others we can show compassion and generosity by treating them with respect and courtesy. This dignified and respectable behavior that we give to others is part of what Jesus was talking about. Try your best to treat others as you would like to be treated and you will find that it will help you so much in everyday life with getting along with others. This game is a fun and exciting way to review what is considered rude behavior in today’s society. Players or teams roll the dice and move that many spaces on the board. Whichever color is on the space you land on indicates the color card that will be used. The player to your left will read the card aloud to you and you will try to answer correctly. If you answer your question correctly, you may stay where you are. If you are not correct, everyone says, “How Rude!” and you move back to where you were. The first player or team to get to the “FINISH,” square first is the WINNER!

The Catholic Toolbox- Jesus is Our Savior
Jesus is our rescuer and offers us a lifeline when we’re trapped in sin. How can we solve the problems in our life? Jesus is our savior and if we follow him, he will show us the way.

The Catholic Toolbox- 2 games about making the right decisions.

WWJD- Making the right decisions in life is hard to do, but if you let Jesus be your guide and think, “What Would Jesus Do?” it will make it a lot easier.

Moral Dilemmas Card Game- Why do problems come into our life? People face problems every day. Some are harder than others. There are many choices that the person can have to solve his/her problem, but which one is the best? What would Jesus want us to do?

Observation & Comprehension Questions
• The Crowd's Inquiry:
What single question do the three different groups (crowds, tax collectors, and soldiers) ask John in verses 10, 12, and 14?
• Ethical Responses: What specific ethical actions does John command for each of the following groups:
o The general crowds (v. 11)
o The tax collectors (v. 13)
o The soldiers (v. 14)
• The Messiah’s Identity: According to verse 15, what were the people wondering in their hearts?
• Comparative Baptism: How does John distinguish his baptism from the one to be performed by the "mightier" one coming after him?
• The Harvest Imagery: What do the "winnowing fork," "wheat," and "chaff" represent in John’s description of future judgment in verse 17?

Theological & Interpretive Questions
• Repentance as Action:
Why does John emphasize behavioral changes (like sharing food or being honest in work) rather than just an internal emotional state?
• The "Good News": Verse 18 says John preached "good news." How can a message containing warnings of "unquenchable fire" and "ax at the root" be considered good news?
• Humility in Ministry: What does John’s statement about not being "worthy to untie the thongs of his sandals" reveal about his understanding of his own mission?
• Contentment: Why might "being satisfied with your wages" be considered a fruit of repentance for the soldiers?

Application & Reflection Questions
• Modern Context:
If you were to ask John "What should I do?" today, what specific habits or ethical behaviors in your profession or lifestyle might he point out?
• Radical Generosity: John suggests that someone with two tunics should give one away. How does this challenge your views on personal ownership and local poverty?
• Professional Integrity: For those in business or positions of authority, how do John’s instructions to the tax collectors and soldiers apply to modern workplace ethics?
• Evaluating "Fruit": In the context of verse 17, how can you discern the "wheat" (spiritually productive areas) and the "chaff" (unproductive areas) in your own life today?
