In the Catholic Church, the Holy Spirit has many names and titles. See how many you can identify. The team with the most, wins.
The Spirit of Christ: Mentioned in Romans 8:9, Galatians 4:6, and Acts 16:7, these terms imply a relationship between the Spirit and the Son
The Spirit of truth: Mentioned in John 16:13
The Paraclete: Mentioned in John 14:16-26, 15:26, and 16:7, this word means "advocate" and "consoler"
The Spirit of the promise: Mentioned in Galatians 3:14
The Spirit of adoption: Mentioned in Romans 8:15
The Spirit of the Lord: Mentioned in 1 Corinthians 3:17

Are You Listening?
Introduction to game: Jesus said, “The Advocate, the holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name- he will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you” John 14:26. So are you listening? Let’s see if you are!
Have the students sit in a circle. Use an empty paper towel cardboard tube and whisper something into the next student’s ear. Have them whisper what you said in the next person’s ear. Continue to the last person and they must say what was whispered to them.

So how does Jesus want us to live our lives? By following and observing his commandments.

The Catholic Toolbox- How Rude!
A fun and exciting way to review what is considered rude behavior in today’s society. The game includes 6 types of interactive game cards: multiple choice, scenario, true/false, reward for good manners, charades, and consequences for bad manners. Players or teams roll the dice and move that many spaces on the board. Whichever color is on the space you land on indicates the color card that will be used. The player to your left will read the card aloud to you and you will try to answer correctly. If you answer your question correctly, you may stay where you are. If you are not correct, everyone says, “How Rude!” and you move back to where you were. The first player or team to get to the “FINISH,” square first is the WINNER!
