The Catholic Toolbox- The Golden Rule (file folder game)
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What does this mean? It means we should treat others the same way you want them to treat you. This game helps promote why someone would use proper manners and etiquette in our daily lives.

The Catholic Toolbox- How RUDE!
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What does this mean? It means we should treat others the same way you want them to treat you. That is easier said than done. Do you respect everyone and treat them kindly at all times? During our daily contact with others we can show compassion and generosity by treating them with respect and courtesy. This dignified and respectable behavior that we give to others is part of what Jesus was talking about. Try your best to treat others as you would like to be treated and you will find that it will help you so much in everyday life with getting along with others. This game is a fun and exciting way to review what is considered rude behavior in today’s society. Players or teams roll the dice and move that many spaces on the board. Whichever color is on the space you land on indicates the color card that will be used. The player to your left will read the card aloud to you and you will try to answer correctly. If you answer your question correctly, you may stay where you are. If you are not correct, everyone says, “How Rude!” and you move back to where you were. The first player or team to get to the “FINISH,” square first is the WINNER!

The Catholic Toolbox- Jesus is Our Savior
Jesus is our rescuer and offers us a lifeline when we’re trapped in sin. How can we solve the problems in our life? Jesus is our savior and if we follow him, he will show us the way.

The Catholic Toolbox- 2 games about making the right decisions.
WWJD- Making the right decisions in life is hard to do, but if you let Jesus be your guide and think, “What Would Jesus Do?” it will make it a lot easier.

Moral Dilemmas Card Game- Why do problems come into our life? People face problems every day. Some are harder than others. There are many choices that the person can have to solve his/her problem, but which one is the best? What would Jesus want us to do?

Questions you can use for worksheets:

Describe the way the world loves based on this passage? How does that differ to what Jesus tells his disciples?

What kind of barriers has our culture made between people? How does this contribute to people seeing others as enemies?

What are some steps that God is calling you take to grow in loving your neighbor based on this passage?

How does Jesus' description of love for your enemies challenge you?

Have you shown love to an enemy? How did it go for you? How did it go your enemy?

How can this love be a model for relating to someone you find difficult?

From Google AI Mode

Radical Love (Verses 27–31)
• Defining the "Enemy":
Who fits the description of an "enemy" in your life today—someone who opposes your values, someone who has personally harmed you, or someone you simply find "unlovable"?
• Proactive Action: Jesus lists specific actions: do good, bless, and pray. How does "praying for" someone change your heart toward them, even if their behavior remains the same?
• The "Golden Rule": Verse 31 is the famous Golden Rule. In what ways is Jesus' version—"do to others as you would have them do to you"—more proactive than the traditional "don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you"?

The Standard of Mercy (Verses 32–36)
• The "Sinners" Contrast:
Jesus notes that even "sinners" love those who love them. What specifically distinguishes a disciple's love from the "reciprocal" love common in the world?
• Expectations: Jesus commands lending and doing good "expecting nothing in return" (v. 35). Why is the lack of expectation so critical to the type of reward Jesus promises?
• Imitating the Father: Verse 36 calls us to be "merciful, even as your Father is merciful." How does understanding God's kindness toward the "ungrateful and the wicked" provide the blueprint for our own behavior?

Judgment and Generosity (Verses 37–38)
• The Boomerang Effect:
Jesus warns that the measure we use will be measured back to us. How does this "boomerang" principle of judgment and forgiveness motivate you to be more lenient with others?
• Misinterpreting Judgment: Does Jesus' command "do not judge" mean we should never discern right from wrong, or is he targeting a specific type of self-righteous or hypocritical condemnation?
• Overflowing Generosity: Verse 38 describes a "good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over". While often used in the context of money, how does this principle apply to giving grace, time, and forgiveness?

Application & Reflection
• The Tension:
Which command in this passage feels the most "impossible" or "unrealistic" to follow in today's world?
• The Source of Power: Since these demands are so high, where does a person find the strength to actually live this way?
